Gossip

Gossip about people is common to everyone. However, gossip can destroy people. Those nice feelings when the gossip came out was the fuel to more gossip.

Learn to restrain. Avoid saying something negatives back. Practice mindfulness to observe ourself at the beginning so that we have that restrain from gossiping.

Train ourself and say ”No” when we’re about to say negative about something or someone. We know that it will put people down. Why not say something nice. I’ll remember that gossips will change the way people relate to us. Not gossiping will improve our lives.  If we want to speak about fellow colleague or friends, say something nice. Put it on the wall. Negativitiy cannot bring improvement.

Learn to point out fault without hurting them. If need to gossip, use good feedback techniques. Try using sandwich technique where we praise more for a start then say something for improvement before closing by saying something positive again. That should help. You’ve got confidence by your colleagues or friends not to share things that are negative, so treasure it.

So recognized it and avoid gossip.
